Question Haltech Injector / Ignition wiring Q

I'm wiring up a Haltech over the next couple of days and had a couple questions...

Does it matter which pin on the fuel injectors sees ground or positive V?

With respect to wiring the coils, the haltech manual says never to run the wiring parallel to / close to the high voltage wires (plug wires?). I was planning on running the ignition wiring across the top of the motor, down the PS bracket, over to the frame rail and then up an over to each coil from there. the only problem with that is that the ignition wires would then cross the spark plug wires -- is this going to be a problem? How else should I route the wires if I don't bring them over the engine?

Right now I have the wiring coming through the firewall where the old wiring harness went. from there I routed it to the engine in between the Smog pump and the Intake manifold (that looked like it would see the least amount of heat there). Does that sound reasonable? If anybody else has better suggestions, I'd appreciate hearing about them

Thanks!,
Manolis

Dunno if it matters, but I beleive black/yellow is 12V +

Nice, that's how I wired 'em

That whole electrical interference thing with the ignition scares the hell outta me though...

It's only a problem when you run wires parallel to each other. Crossing at an angle will not cause interference.

the ignition wires kind of curve down towards the plugs though, so won't there always be some interference? The stock wiring runs parallel to them as well i believe, but it is at least 1.5 feet away or so.

Do you think that running the wires down the PS bracket and then over to the frame rail / up will cause interference?

Thanks!!!

It doesn't matter...

We usually seperate those leads and run them across the dash board int he interior before going into the engine bay.&nbsp This way, they come out of the driver's side rear corner of the engine bay, right where most of the ignition wiring is at.&nbsp If you want to do a little more research, you can actually find the correct wire colors at the ECU and splice into those - this uses the stock wiring, and keeps everything routed away from the "high tension leads" (i.e. spark plugs wires).

ahha!

Thanks Ted -- I'll give that a shot then! It's getting c-l-o-s-e to time to run this sucker <knock on wood>

Then again, the last time I said that I realized that I had left out the pilot bearing grease seal (which has since been installed -- thanks again Ted )
