Hail Damage!!! This Sucks!!!
I just got home to find my Vert all beat to crap.. There was golf ball sized hail still sitting between the hood and the winshield.. I need a New Aluminum Hood, a new trunk, a new tailight, new fenders and a passenger side mirror.. I am very upset.. Just when I get the car road worthy again something like this happens. Also all my spare body parts are dented like I pissed someone off with a ballpeend hammer...
Went from a REDICUlously straight bodied car, to a car that if it had full coverage would be totaled out....

sorry to hear that, paintless dent repair guys can do wonders on hail damage.
I bought a brand new accord in 2002 may and in early 2003 I watched it being totalled in the Mall parking lot helpless...
one of those inflatable car covers might help if ya don't have a garage.

i have childhood friend that works at a body shop. his advice for hail damage is this
1. Heater Gun
2. Some dry ice
Heat the area that was hit with the hail. (obviously be careful not to ruin the paint) heat it up very well. One dent at a time.
When the area is hot (i mean really hot) to the touch, take your dry ice and rub it over the dent. Some of them will pop out on their own. Not all of them but some.
It sounds dumb but it works. Especially on the larger ones. Its much cheaper than the taking it to the body shop. Try it you'd be surprised.

no they wont work on a vert. dang dude im sorry. how bad is the hood? can you use pos a dent or dent wizard on it? that hood'll be expencive to replace. and what about the back end? was the unibody part ok?

You can use coupe lights on a vert, but you loose the key access to the trunk. Not that big a deal until the cable for the trunk pop breaks. Had a friend with this scenario. We had to go in from the top storage area. At any rate, if you decide you want to go that route, I have a pair of s4 coupe lights you can have for free. Let me know, and maybe we can talk Jacob into getting them as far as Bowling Green.

you need paper work for dryice?
geez that sucks I just go to the grocery store show id and my paperwork is then done.

Oh... most places dont require a liscence or a PHD for dry ice either. Maybe where your located might be a different story but its not hard to find or purchase.
