Think of it this way it is something for him to strive for.
Hey now, I didnt mean to start anyting...I was just pokin fun at Jeff...

I will try to dig up a pic of his engine bay
Uh, look up about 20 posts?

That picture is after one week of owning the car.
Jeff's car ia DEFINITELY cleaner than mine was, when I first got it anyway. Now, all mine needs is paint (externals) to be that nice or nicer. I had to get mine the hard way; I removed every bit and piece from the engine bay during the rebuild, and hand cleaned it, then reassembled it all to stock.

Ohhhhh NOW that's it I’m startin' something, BRING IT!!!! Hahahah JK .

I wanted to show a better pic of his engine bay that one is to far away.

I can't even talk my engine bay is super fugly. It might look ok from the pic I posted but the previous owner did not take a lot of care in filling the brake fluid nicely. Draw your own conclusions there. But hey you can see a side shot of my car in Super Street but it is over shadowed by the CYM FD .

Yo,

Damn kids, quit fighting! We catch enough **** from the turbo crowd without any GTUs infighting to add to it! *grin*

Anyways, Wozzoom, your cars looks sweet! It looks like the Blaze Red faction of Team GTUs is beating out the Noble White and Brilliant Black...Heh.

Here is mine:
89, white, 102992 miles, original engine
Cone intake, RB down pipe and silencer, straight pipe (95 dB)

Two questions, a) how I can find out what factory options my 89GTUs came with? needed for SCCA SoloII stock rule. b) I know Toyota genII MR2 allowed to use crash bolts to gain neg camber duo to Toyota service bulletin said dealer can use these bolts to correct alignment for non-competition purpose, does Mazda service bulletin mention similar method of correct an alignment?

Yo,

Ben, the only real options I know for the car was cruise control and air conditioning. I think that's about it.

You bought Blake Qualley's car, right? That was a hell of a deal. Glad to see you are autocrossing it.

You might want to check out the Race Car section of this forum, there are a lot of SCCA guys there.

Thanks Kev. It's always fun to have a little friendly competition! I'll have to take a couple new pictures of the cars to show what I've been up too for the last couple of winter months... I guess that's one of the benifits of owning a Non-Turbo: The car is never broken, so we have plenty of time to clean!

Exactly! *grin* Either drive the **** out of it or clean it. Pretty simple choices!

Heh.

I second that emotion...

Actually, I was thinking of starting a website, something like teamgtus.org, but I don't really have time at the moment. Wouldn't it be cool, though?

Yep, I bought Blake Q 's car.

GTUs is mean to be raced, isn't it why Mazda made it at the first place: to celebrate their GTU domination in US racing back then.

I notice you have a RB struct bar, did you noticed an improvement after you installed it? I was debating whether I should go with RB or Mazdatrix bar/better torsion stiffness. I am hesitating to drill two holes at the firewall as I want only bolt-on upgrades to my GTUs. You know why.
Thanks
Ben
