GReddy Temp Gauge?

Ok, I just got around the temp gauge tonight, and the threads on Greddy sensor is slightly bigger than the stock threads. Therefore, it won't screw in.

My Greddy oil pressure sensor screwed right in, but the water temp sensor is just big enough to not fit.

Should I just get the adapter to stick in my upper radiator hose, or is there another spot where I can put it?

What has everyone else done??

Or do I even need an adapter for the upper rad hose??

Can I just put some silocone tape on the threads and screw it in, with the hose holding it's integrity?
