Greddy Power Extreme Cat-back. Can't say enough!
I just got done installing my Greddy PE catback a few hours ago. This exhaust system is awesome The quality and look of it is just great. The one thing that I really hated about my old exhaust was the sound after I installed my RB header. It was extremely high-pitched and raspy at high rpms, and very loud. This Greddy , well you just have to hear it. At idle it is very quiet. Barely audable from the inside, and if the radio is on , you cant hear it. Once you step on the gas, thats where the greatness begins. It is just a nice, low pitched buzz the entire way to redline, almost Ferrari-ish. NO rasp whatsoever. Its just great. Even at WOT I could carry on a normal conversation. Ill get some pics up tomorrow, its late now. I at first thought the dual 4" tips would be a tad "ricey", but it actually looks very nice, fills the cutouts well. Just thought Id give my review of this Cat-back.

I feel for you on the raspy sound...I had my RB header mated to a pre-silencer, then to 2.5 piping, with midas mufflers....it sounded just like a 2 stroke at WOT.....got very annoying.
Get those pics up soon!

He bought it from a guy who was selling his slightly used system. I'm not sure if RP still has any left...it's been some time now since they posted that they had them (the message is still there though).

Sweet, get some pics up, or better yet, stop over....
Yes, he's still using the header.
Hey, you gonna be around at all tomorrow? I think I'm gonna start prepping my car for paint if you want to help it along. I'd like to have it done before that meet, if it happens, it's not looking all that great at this point.

Alright guys, here are the pics you've all been waiting for. I just got dont taking it for another test drive, since it was pouring rain yesterday, so I couldnt really test it out. It seems I actually gained a little more power with this also, over my other cat-back. This piping diameter is larger on the Greddy. Still love the sound, its great.
I tried to let you see the entire cat-back, but it didnt come out so clear
And yea, its big, but I dont think its too big, it looks great IMO
(Yes I need to polish the tips )
What do you guys think?

i think it looks nice, but i wish i could hear it, sound is one of the most important factors. i think maybe the reason why u say you picked up some hp is maybe because that exhaust is lighter an much more high flowing...greddy makes good ****

Thats a Greddy Power Extreme catback? I thought it looked like this? Or is that an older version? It looks like the Street Performance, Greddy setup, not the PE.

Ya the "PE" is the one rp advertises a lot. The cans are kinda too big, but it looks awsome. I dunno guys but i feel that isist too performance oriented i mean how much do you think those cans must wiegh?? I would think a hell of a lot more than going just single. Its too bling bling for me. Ive always wondered though what kind of power gains youd get from the PE system versus just going single on a turbo car.

Ok, thanks for the clarification, I was actually going to ask that question since I noticed that mine looks alot different than the pic of the PE on rx7.com's website. My silencers are a bit smaller, and the mufflers seem smaller and with a rolled tip. I just thought maybe it was an older version. Like Kiyo said above, I bought it slightly used, and the guy told me it was a PE. Either way though, its a kick-*** system.

I like the SE better than PE system (no offense ), I'm not a fan of big tips and backboxes...and SE has smaller backboxes so the tips don't seem that big too . Both are damn nice though.
