I've also contacted the guy who has been making the CNC'd intake adapters for the 2n'd gen that allow a 2.5 inch pipe to be hooked up straight into the throttlebody (like the greddy adapter in the FMIC kit, except that this one is CNC machined billet aluminum!!!)
I'm going to be fabricating the pipes.
I'm looking to keep the cost of the kits to below 500 bucks.
I'm going to start a thread about it and do regular postings and put a page on my website about the progress.

That sounds awesome Years of Decay keep me informed on the progress of your FMIC Kit. Im curious
to know what type of core are you going to use ?
Also it would be awesome if the IC piping would be either Powder Coated or highly polished along with a nicely Powder Coated or highly polished adapter (Elbow) that you were talking about that hooks up directly to the Throttle Body. I will be your very first customer when it comes out, so put me on your list.
I would want one for sure.

I would like to know if anyone here in this forum has installed a Greddy FMIC Kit on a FC with the Re Amemiya FC 2000 Cowl ? I know I have seen a FC here I think it was a white one, with the FC 2000 Cowl with a Greedy FMIC installed. I just want to know if it would be any easier to install the Greddy FMIC Kit on my Turbo II as I do not have the Bumper Reinforcement at all. Also if you noticed on the FC 2000 Cowl, the opening in the front is not that big. So my question is the following, "From what I have seen in pics, and from what Kevin Landers said, that the Greddy FMIC is a Huge IC which is awesome, but is the core itself so big that all of the core is not going to be exposed to the incoming air due to the fact the the RE Amemiya Bumpers hole is not as long in length as the Greddy FMIC Core ? Also im planning on installing a aftermarket radiator maybe a Fluidyne or another aftermarket radiator along with a Ford Escort E.Fan with shroud. Im also concerned as far as cooling is concerned, due to the fact that the hole in the front of the bumper is going to be exposing the FMIC, therfore blocking air flow to the radiator so I would like to know if the car would run hot on the Highway, as well as in normal dialy driven, and also in hauling *** mode driving ?

The T/B adapter is freakin awesome. its CNC'd and is shiney right out the box, and it looks cool as hell with the milling marks in it (like stuff your see on "american Chopper" engines) so I don't think I'm going to polish that unless I'm specifically asked to.
ALSO.. I forgot to add in the freakin silicone couplers, 550 is a better number right now.

Years of Decay souds great, But I want to keep my A/C for sure. Here in Miami Beach,Fl it gets pretty damn hot, and without A/C I cant live without it. A/C is also a necesity when it rains hard as hell you need it so your windows dont get fogged up. Its a pain in the rear when your barely rolling in traffic, its pooring hard as hell, and your windows are getting all fogged up, and obviously you dont roll down the window cause your going to get soaked, as well as your interior. After awhile the water that does manage to get in during the storms will eventually get into the "Window Switch", causing it to short out after awhile, causing the contacts to get wet, then with the humidity, and heat they start to go bad on the inside, then you dont have a working window switch. Besides the heat, and the rain you need the A/C for the ladies as well, so when you go out on dates, and stuff the honey's are kept comfortable in the Turbo II. Will I still have A/C with your FMIC kit ? I could care less about Power Steering, as I no longer have it. But I still want to keep my A/C.

I FOUND a redneck with a mandrel bender.... WOOO HOOOOO,, the price of pipe just got a LOT better!!!.
Once i get my car done, I'll work on a kit to keep the A/C. I need to know if Power steering is a must though!!!
HOWEVER.. if you are going to keep the a/c,, then an upgraded radiator is a MUST. More power = more heat. THe A/C is in front of the radiator and now you got an intercooler up there too!!!

Try and see if you can contact hIGGI about it, as he has done it several times.
BTW, thanks to Kevin Landers, I've got the PDF too.
I can do a rough translation of the instructions to English, since I don't think there's an English version floating around? To me the instructions are pretty straight forward if you see the pics, but I can do a page dedicated to English if there's enough demand for it?

It requires a LOT of cutting. The side ducts need to be cut down to like a couple inches, and the lower part of the front main bumper opening needs to be cut down several inches.
