ok I'm going to clear up some misconceptions you all seem to have because your hate for the greddy is unfounded.
First of all, "race only" my ***. I just drove my fc 600 miles this last weekend from ny to va with my air conditioner cranking the whole time. With my air filter under the hood and about 90 degree ambient air temps on the road, my intake temps were 104f under cruise. This is after 4-5 hours of driving.
Also, with my AC on the whole drive, my engine temps never rose above 97c. If youre going to take the time to install an intercooler, you cant complain about airflow if you dont do proper ducting. I have a metal tray I fabricated underneath, and a CF panel on top. This does the job flawlessly. I have thrashed this car on the hottest of days and it shows no signs of overheating. The reverse cowl hood also does a great job of cooling and pulling air out from under the hood.
The greddy R core is one of the best IC's on the market, and the piping that comes with it is an excellent fit.
My car has a t61 and is making somewhere over 450rwhp at 17psi on pump gas. This keeps the air nice and chilled.
If youre using an upgraded turbo and making any decent power, dont bother with a dinky intercooler

also, water wetter works nicely, i used to use it religiously, but dont really need it. You will see a change in water temps. I stopped using it because its not worth the money, my car runs perfectly with 50/50.
While it works, it is more of a bandaid than a proper fix

i never said I hated it...............and yes, I know I'll need a bigger IC once i change turbos......Maybe Slightly taller, longer and 3" wide..............It honestly depends on how this lil one works.........If it isn't helping or getting me the required results then I'll ditch it............we'll see...
Nice hood BTW.......post more pics please.
