Great News on the Car

Well after a long *** time I finally drove the car (just out of my coldesac(sp)) and it felt great Nothing like the POS 86 Nova I have been driving since early last year.

I am still having some problems with my motor. It is idling around 2,000RPM, I figure it's a vacuum leak, still have to find it. And it is smoking a little bit, is that common for a rebuild? I still need to bleed or replace the clutch hydraulics, but it is getting really close.

If its a fresh rebuild, im pretty sure a high idle and smoking is normal, just let it idle for a few hours in your driveway every day or so and the engine will get stronger and build compression the longer it runs. Break it in before fixing **** - the problems might go away. Good luck!

I read on rotary resurrection that you should let it idle for a day but of course you can take it for a spin or two !
