got some rims but i am scared to put them on!
ok here is the deal i got a great great deal on a set of FD rims now i did some research and i found out that i need 25mm(1 inch) spacers. do i need them on the front or the back? or both? that is one and the other reason why i am scared is because my stock size is 205/55/16 these tires are 225/50/16 will i have a problem with these tires rubbing on my fc? the fc is lowered 1 inch with the racing beat springs and tokico blues! thanks for the help

Im running 225/55r16's all around you gonna need spacer in the front, because it rubs when you go around sharp corners. Im not gonna worry about it right now, Im currently replacing my suspension and dropping the car 1". I will need the spacers when I goto buy new tires or drop to 215's(in the front). I believe you can run up to 235's in the back w/o spacers. I Have plenty of room in the back.

NO NO NO.............
He's got FD RIMS.......... it will not fit up front PERIOD without spacers...
The REASON that you only need them in the front is that the FD rims are 16X8 with +50 offset.. Stock TII wheels are 16X7 and have a +40mm offset. with the STOCK TII rims and tires, you only have about 12mm to the spring perch, well, the FD rim sits 10mm farther IN and the TIRE is about 30mm wider overall... (15)per side..... Guess what.. You just hit the spring perch with the tire.
Without Camber Plates on the shok towers, you will most likely run into rubbing issues with the fenders.
SO.... In order to get the tire back to clear the spring perch, you need the 25mm Spacers.....
There are gobs of room in the back, but the trailing are is your culprit here.... the Stock FD rims clear it fine..
BUT.. if your tires are wider in the front than the back, you are not going to like the way the car handles.. so you really should put the spacers on the back as well
and, finally...
FOR CHYSTS SAKE JUST GO GET SOME WHEELS THAT FIT.... Freakin Spacers, especially once and INCH long that you have to bolt to the hub and the the wheels to the spacer are for guys with a death wish... (and will NOT pass a safetly inspection here in PA and in most other states.. so don't sell your stock rims.
