(got me a ) junkyard lip
Snagged this off a late-80's 626 - fits pretty good, and looks like it was meant for the RX-7!! I mean, most of the mount holes line right up! $15 bucks well spent, I think. Other possible donors I've seen are Honda Accord EXR's, 1st gen MR2's, some 240sx's. Happy hunting!

Curtis, you are a very resourceful owner, I thought you might like to see a pic of the light lenses you sold me over the winter. I'll be hunting the wreckers for your latest innovation.

you can also go to home depot and in the garden department get the black trimming used to line you flower bed and cut that to any width for a lip that hangs down a little or alot like a nascar lip. Someone around here has it and i thought it looked cool.

Years ago I did the lawn edging on the front of my car. I used some old car tags behind it for better structural support. One on either side and two in the middle. The car tags were strong enough to keep its shape at speed but would bend if you curbed it. Looked ok but that car is gone now.

you can make your own clear signal covers super easy for like $10! go to your local hardward/lighting store and purchase a piece of replacement plastic for some recessed flouresent lights (like they use in most public places i.e. schools) the sheet is like 3ft by 4ft. remove your stock lens covers and trace them out on the plastic. cut them carefully with a fine toothed saw (i.e. band saw or bodysaw with fine toothed blade) leave a small amount of extra around the actual size you need as it may chip a bit when cutting. then sand down to the exact size that is need (be cautious with the front bumper lenses as they are curved to a small extent) when sanding use a fine grit paper or grinding stone. use a small bead of clear silicone to seal them from the elements when installing and taadaa clear lens on the cheap. oh yeah you may want to be sure to replace each bulb with the appropriately colored bulb as most stock ones are just clear and most law enforcement agencys frown on the clear bulb thing.
