That's very well done. Looks better then factory.

I'm currently working on modifying a Autometer WRX pod for installation above the idiot cluster, but it won't look nearly as smooth as that.

Look again... they ARE angled towards the driver...

Actually.. the one on the left is focused on my right eye both vertically and horizontally.. I actually used a bow square to ensure it was dead on...

since they are all angled the same degree.. the one on the far right is just a bit off because its further away..

but its the best i could do and keep everything in line with the front edge of the idiot light insert and not have really weird angles to fiberglass and mud

I kept Six of the Idiot lights and am in the process of moving them below the stereo..

I got one of 1fastT2,s blank rado surrounds and modified it to hold my profec and then cut six holes for the lights to show through.. I used the honeycomb that houses the lights in the stock part as a template.

I took the Idiot light housing apart and bastardized the circuit board, cut a six hole pice of the honycomb out that houses the lights to mount behind the holes.. the I cut the silkscreen icon board up and jigsawed it back together in the order i wanted.. (took forever to get it perfect, and glued it to the front of the honeycomb.

now i have to re-wire the main boad to the six remaining lights on the light board so that only the ones i want will work.. Not that big a deal.. the board is such that the power is supplied to the lights and they are grounded to be turned on.. just have to trace WHICH ground on the MAIN board went to the location of the light on the OLD board and re-connect to the new position.

I kept the Oil Level, Hatch Open, Add Coolant, BrAKE oN, DOOR OPEN and one other but i can't remember which right now!!!!!

I'll post a new thread on THAT piece of work when i get it done!!!

I'll be posting a write up with pics and diagrams on the Idiot light removal and relocation tomorrow.. thats a PITA but.. not that bad..

You basically have to make a new wiring harness to go from the stock connetor down to the center console.. and cut and splice the main board in the idiot light unit.. what you end up with is the main board from the isiot light cluster sitting in the back of the center console with wires running to half of the light board attached to the stereo surround.

the other one i kept was the Alternator "charge" light!!
