Might sound dumb, but I can keep my tranny right?
Is there any difference in tranny's, like pressure plate or clutch?
Thanks..and How much should I expect to pay for everything minus the engine for the swap..rearend, drivetrain.etc...Been shoppin around

You can do a complete TII swap, all drivetrain, engine trans, driveshaft and rearend, stock ECU and stock Turbo hood for well under 3k.
Just do it yourself, if you need help finding parts at a good price, just ask the board.
The non-red s5 in my sig is a complete conversion, less than 3k, it can be done, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I will even dare to say it can be done for less than 2k. Heck with some time and patience always looking for the right deal, 1500... 3k you can be done in a week, or two, 2k a month or two, 1500, a year, or two...
All these estimates are from real experience, but the caveat is they are all DIY estimates.

Well if Chose two in instead of 3 there’s not much of a point if your going to "mod" it because its pretty hard to make an n/a much faster then a TII...unless it is a Turbo II I don’t remember if you mentioned it or not. If you want a fun reliable car rebuild the n/a engine and use that.
