the reason ground control is cheap is because it is just the springs,perches, and sleevs doesn't include shocks. the arospeed and ground control go over your existing shocks. personally i just got springs cause i have never wanted to change the height of my car. i have the eibach prokit on my TII and Racing Beat springs on my FD. i'd suggest investing in the RB springs for the best handling if you can't afford true coilovers that range from $1000-$5000. i looked at ohlins full race those are only $1200 corner.........

You are assuming wrong. I would consider these, depending on the spring rates... and you would STILL need better struts than stock... something like KYB AGXs.

p.s. Ground Control used Eibach springs I think. I have no idea what these use. I would like rate info...

350 for the rear and 450 for the front.

No with the GC coil overs you still have to supply the struts that you want to use but they do come with the Eibach springs.

I would call and ask if they come with springs and which ones before you go spending money on them.

sorry didn't read all the add, it does come with springs but it doesnt say from which co. I would find this out first, plus you are still going to have to get after market struts anyway, the stock ones wont work with either set up

Ground Control makes great products and many different forms of racers and street cars use them. They are not as good as say a custom Penske setup.... but then again you are only spending $399.

You get what you pay for. If the AROSpeed is selling them for $150..... they have to make a profit as well right? Then they must really be getting them for cheap and IMO they are crap as others have stated. Do it right the first time.

K2RD.com is another alternative and they have KYB AGX adjustable shocks for a killer price (4) $355! Also they have a coil over kit with AGX's, caster/camber plates for a smoking deal. Check them out and maybe upgrade your car bit by bit.

Unless you go full tilt and get killer tires for racing I doubt you will see the difference between coil overs and normal springs as the main difference would be the ability to raise/lower the ride height.

so witch of the cheapos are better? gc or aro...also im for looks and performance at the same time. but on the other hand dont have alot of money.
