good price?

I'm looking into getting an 87 rx7. I found one for 400. I talked to the guy on the phone and he saids it had a blown rotor but still runs. Will not start with out a push. the other parts of the car are in good condition. do you think this is a good price or should I ask for less. Also, If I do get it, how much do you think it will cost to rebuild the engine?

Thanks.

I say go for it. I got a nice blown GXL for 300. A rebuild would probably cos about a thousand US dollars. If you just want another engine then it will be like 2k for a good one.

these are prices for parts only, though
expect to pay $700-1000 for labor, unless you know someone in the biz
