Is it a good idea to buy a used pulsation damper?
Atlanta rx7's is selling some used for $75, he says garuanteed but I dont know for how long. Or I could go with the Mazdatrix one for $133 new or the Mazda dealership for like $245, unless some of you guys know of a place that I could get new ones somewhere for a better price.

Where are new ones for 80? and I know about the whole banjo bolt thing, however it doesnt seem like a good idea, even though it will fix my problem now, I'm going to upgrade injectors eventually and from what i've been reading its better to go with the PD, however I am very tempted to just get the banjo, in fact I did from summit racing, what a POS, it broke under 15 pounds of tourq and I'm kinda lost as to where to find a banjo bolt excatly that size, other then going to the junk yard and taking off the intake manifold there. Arggggggggggggg dam you Mazda for this. My car has been out of service for too long.!!!

DON'T BUY IT!
For one I wouldn't pay over 15 for a used PD unless I knew the car it came out of(I did it on my 88 SE/took it out of my 88 GTU).
A banjo bolt will be the cheapest method but it is not the correct way.
If you do that you are pretty much getting rid of the FPR in the car.

FPR= Fuel Pressure Regulator.
The PD helps with the pressure spikes of the injectors pulsing on and off so each injector spits out the same amount of fuel.
With out it you can come into instances where pressure might be higher or lower than what the other Injector just shot at meaning it will inject a different amount of fuel.
Not the same amount == bad /messes with way engine runs

hit up atkins rotary for one... i got a a series 5 fuel rail set from them (i have a series 4 n/a, which are known to have problems with leaky PD's) for $30 and shipping. the only thing you have to do is get shorter mounting bolts for the lower rail... the upper won't fit without an adapter, though. but if all you need is a pulsation dampener switch to an s5.
