Going to check car out...got question
Going to check out a series 5 TII.
Just wondering what i should look for interms of the turbo and boost.
At what rpm should i first start to boost and how much psi. (how much lag?)
At redline boost should be 8 psi right?

Boost should be pretty quick in first and second gear.
If the car feels right & boost good, then just make sure you have the local mazda dealership to a compression test on the engine. Make sure they are using a rotary specific compression tester and you'll get 6 numbers back (3 per rotor).
Don't be surprised if compression is good but the car idles rough or the wipers don't work on high. Just need a tuneup & TPS and the wipers just need a do it yourself fix.
