Going to buy some shocks/springs/exhaust
I need some help. I want to buy some new shocks and springs. Im looking at the KYB AGX with Eibach springs. Can someone help me understand better whats the main difference between the eibach springs versus the RB springs. I heard the RB has a ruffer ride . I want the car to handle good but not kill me when i hit potholes since they are plentiful in nyc.
I def want the kyb shocks but if im running low on funds i am considering tociko blues with eibachs. Pretty much i want to hear from guys that know or have run these setups.
I want to get an RB system, for now im going to get just the catback but for later when i get the header/presilencer, i saw that there was different presilencers for auto and manuals. Now my car was an automatic now converted to manual, First i had a s4 tranny now i got a s5 tranny, so what am i gonna do and which one am i gonnna pick. SInce they sell presilencer for s4/s5 and autos haha

i highly recomend the kyb agx struts, i've been using mine for a few years now and i love them! my understanding of the differences in the eibach and RB springs is that the eibach are progressive so as you driving becomes more agressive they become stiffer, this would probably be better for a city driver. the RB springs keep the spring rate the same all the time.
one of my first mods was the apexi N1 dual exhaust, i love the should and look of it but i could have put my money to better use. i think that my Bonez Superflo was a much better investment, i've noticed alot more proformace from removing the old cats then i noticed with the apexi exhaust. i would think about getting rid of the cats first.

that seems to be fine to me. Look at his feedback and you'll see 25 satisfied customers who bought shocks in the past 2 days, so I would say you have nothing to worry about. PM me if you want to buy some used or new (have both) eibach pros...

its deffintly best to buy the struts in a set like that...one they all wear evenly and two you'll save alot of money. i made the mistake of buying the rear struts cause thats all i could afford and at the time they were the only problem, but the front ones alone will cost about 3/4 of what you'll pay!

First of all, the Eibach Pro-Kits should ride softer.
For performance driving, either you can adapt to them or you can't.
I had a hard to adapting to the progressive nature of the spring rate and hated them.
I got rid of them as fast as I could.
The RB's should be linear and ride "harsher".
If you're not racing, and this is for a street vehicle, by all means save the money and go with the Tokico HP "blues".
The adjustability of the AGX's is really a waste of money, unless you're racing or like to fiddle around with the *****.
90% of the non-racers adjust the KYB AGX's once and don't touch them again (for street use).
The Tokico blues are a good bargain for the money and should save you some bucks there.
