Getting TDC
I believe the timing is off on my rebuilt motor, since I can't get it to start. I stupidly painted the pulley without thinking about the timing marks. So my question is how could I get the TDC without having these marks on my pulley? I did a search and found a thread by Hailers but it seems that is only for cars with marks already on pulley.

You can find stock timing marks on ANY pully, not just an RB.
Remove both rear plugs...use a mirror/flashlight to center an apex seal in the T hole, mark the pully...repeat for the L hole. Measure halfway in between. Mark the pulley. This is tdc, so to speak. Now, use a degree wheel to add 5*atdc for stock timing. Now you can zero out everything like stock and start over.

The above will get you in a very LARGE ballpark. It is NOT accurate. But once you get there, take a piece of emery cloth or the equiv, and rub the paint off the aft edge of your pulley and TRY to find the small notches.
I used to reference that method of finding TDC from this ancient thread from the FC3S Forum http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/articles/demystifying.html I realized it is NOT accurate.
It can be found at the bottom of the above thread.

Tried HAILERS way after getting a rough idea. Worked like a charm!!! But that was after draining my fuel tank after realizing i put WAAAAY to much idemitsu premix in my
tank!! I put enough for a whole tank, and all I had was less than a quarter!! Hummm
I'm such a retard!!! i should be driving a civic LOL.

Got spark on the LEAD wires?
If you remove the lower sparkplugs and have someone spin the engine with the starter, do you feel the pulses on the front lower plug are similar to the pulses on the rear lower plug? Put a finger over the holes while the engine turns.
Has this engine run for you before? No change in fuel hoses etc?

Motor was rebuilt, i foregot to do the timing. So just tried starting and started up a couple times but would just die. Then I got an e-mail from rtek about them having issues with the version i have. Some people were reporting engine would stall after startup.

I suppose this means you have a series four non turbo that you put a turbo engine in and used the non turbo EM harness. Nothing wrong with that in any way shape or form.
All non turbo harnesses, right? Right. Good. No turbo EM harness involved to screw the pooch with.
Rebuit engines will flood easily for the first thousand miles or so give or take a bunch.
What RTEK? I've had 2.0 and 2.1 and have no problems at all.
Go look and see what the output from the TPS is AT the green/red wire in the middle plug of the ECU with the engine hot. Opps. Can't do that since it does not run.
