General Vacuum Questions ( Searched )

Hey,

I have searched but couldn't find a definite answer to my question. What should an RX-7 pull at idle for Vacuum? I get 14HG on my gauge, and when I shift I get 24HG. Does that sound about right? I have a new Reman with over 1500 km on it, just trying to gauge how healthy it is. ( I was boosting a tad at around 1000km) (Am now boosting 10psi daily, runs absolutely excellent in all facets.)

Thanks guys

Ryan

Stock ports?
Sounds a bit low...

Good vacuum should be 18 to 20 for stock ports.

It could be something as simple as an intake vacuum leak.

My idle is around 15HG... closed throttle plates at speed though is 24HG. I always figured the low idle vac was just because the rpms were lower?
