gauges

I am in need of a temp gauge, but I have two spots on my a-pillar, so I was thinking of running water temp, and oil pressure. I found these two VDO gauges on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ayphotohosting

anyone see why i couldnt use these? or have any suggestions for different gauges.

also, how do you install and oil pressure gauge?

you might want to make sure your pod and the guages are the same size. Those look like 2" guages not 52mm.

my gauges look identical to them except they've got a different name on them. i havn't got the oil pressure but the water temp works fine. you can also choose the colour of the illumination by putting a coloured cap over the bulb, the orange matches the rest of the dash really well.

thanks guys,
im sure fitment won't be a problem, since 2 inches is 50.8mm, and my 52mm gauges are tight already. I figure i can make them fit snugly if need be. Anyone know of a better price on those gauges, or how to install?

tia,
Ben

OK I found a website where I can probably get them cheaper, but there are so many adapters and sensors to choose from. I choose the cheapest ones, but what all do I need to install? I still have no clue where to install the oil pressure sender, and I have seen about 10 different places to mount the temp sensor sender.
These are the parts, and they are from http://www.egauges.com/vdo_grou.asp?Series=Cockpit

310-041 2 1/16 250F Elec. engine temp gauge Cockpit Black $24.07

323-419 Temperature Sender: 250F/120C - 1/2-14 NPT - $9.41

350-041 2 1/16 150 PSI Elec. engine pressure gauge Cockpit Black $27.49

240-903 Sender Bushing Kit - - $9.37

360-004 Pressure Sender: 0-150 PSI/10 Bar - 1/8-27 NPT - $28.70

total w/ shipping is $107.79

can anyone tell me which threads I need for the senders, what adapters etc...?

TIA,
Ben
