sounds like it might be your pulsation damper..i believe its on the front of the pri. fuel rail.maybe do a search on it..i just bought mine a while back[mine did not fail, but they are a known weak point],but my whole engine is in pieces,so its a pretty easy thing to change out.not chap,either..check out the link below for some more info

Well i guess thats it but isnt that on the front of the engine? Because it is leaking from the back of the engine right on top of the exhaust manifold. I would assume its just coming from the fuel because that thing is on the front of the fuel and not the back correct. So what is my fuel rail bad??? Thanks Dave

Check your fuel rail and the hoses leading to it...and DON"T DRIVE YOUR CAR! If you continue to drive your car with leaaking fuel you may soon have a crispy engine as opposed to a running engine.

replace crispy engine with crisped car. My GF sisters friend (whew) had his rex catch on fire...pulsy dampner.

With the car cold, jumper the fuel jumper plug near the r/h strut tower, turn the key on, not to start. Now the fuel rail is pressurized. Use you eyes and find the leak. Cant see the leak. Remove the obstacles so you can see. Could just be a fiel line with a pin hole leak up to the pulsation damper. Cost from three bucks for the fuel line to the cost of a damper. Should'nt be hard to find. Just don't run the car. But you know not to do that. Go to that free service manual on line if you can't find the jumper plug. Its yellow with two sockets.

I had the same leaking fuel problem and this part resolved it. The part wasn't too cheap from the factory, but neither is getting 100 miles to a tank. Can you say fire hazard?

If you drive it without that fixed it will catch on fire! Having your rex burn infront of you really blows.
(from a personal experience)

I had that part (pulsation damper) fail. I got the fire out quickly, and was lucky that it only cost me $500 to fix it. Yes, lucky- because I had full coverage insurance to cover the other $2000+ that it cost- my deductible was $500. FIX IT NOW.
