The idea of a proper cold air box is to ensure that no air is drawn from the hot engine bay and it all comes through the duct from outside. It you make a very effective box/shield and feed it with a skinny duct, you're making it harder for the engine to breath. If your box is not that effective, then hot air will be sucked from the engine bay because it's easier than sucking it through the skinny duct. Air always follows the path of least resistance, so whatever you do you must make it easier for the air to come through your duct than from the engine. A small duct won't work.

is 2 1/16" the same as 52mm? or what size are VDO gauges? you should make the gauge pod for that size. it would be really cool if it looked a lot like the black one that other guy made, but angled towards the driver. I hate having to lean over to get an accurate reading on my gauges
I'm not sure on anything else as I don't plan to buy them. unless the cold air box can work with my TID mod
I think he meant "still like to know where"

I am trying to get some stuff for the guage pod right now. But I am also attempting to purchase another FC. If I con't buy the FC I will have cash to buy parts and modles and all the materials needed to make the proto-types. I still need more interest though guys. I am really trying to help the FC commiity buy providing parts that we all want affordably and you all shrug me off.

Nobody's going to say for sure they will buy something, if they have no clue as to how good your fabricating skills are.
Until you have actual real life products to show us, quit complaining that there isn't enough interest, we're shrugging you off, and that we're all dead fish.

The interest is there, but so far, it's all talk
and why make something for someone if they don't want it. he's just trying to make sure that there is a reason for him to start makeing parts.

I didn't mean disrespect in any way. I'm just saying that if he wants to make some parts for himself, he should make some parts. Then post up what he made and see if anyone is interested.
Not many people are going to speak up if they haven't seen a finished version.

Yes guys I understand that making a prototype first would make more interest but this is Carbon Fiber were talking about here not plastic. I can't just spend 200 dollars on materials and then get nothing I need serious interest from serious buyers. CHeack out my poll on parts to make. I think like 25 people posted and no one part had more than 7 posters voting for it. out of those 7 how many will have the money to buy it and out of those people how many will buy it. I am trying to sell all my parts that I have laying around so I can build up enough cash to make two or three parts but no one is buying **** from me either. I only have two people that are interested in buying from me and then I will make very little cash from that.

The idiot light cluster is the area that has the warning lights(Idiot I belive came from you have to be an idiot for those lights to tell you anything.) An S-AFC is a fuel controler computer that puggy backs on the stock ECU and allows you to add fuel or take away fuel changing the power output.(obviously you need a wideban and dyno to tune the thinng though) The holder would replace your ashtray and would hold the S-AFC in it and look fairly stock.
