I was about to go to the store when I noticed my pass. side exhaust pipe (very tip) was bent and pointing down. I go to fiddle with it, and it comes right out. after I pulled it out,(rusted through) I started laughing. My sister couldn't understand why I was laughing. I told her that was the reason my car had been rattling, and I have to get a new exhaust . She asked "why is that funny". "that just means she wants to go faster, just for that I'm going to take her out tonight". My sister didn't understand. so I wait for the cover of nightfall, or when nobody is on my drift road. It's 12:00 and I climb in my car. I ride the "strip" a couple of time too see if everything is cool, (btw, you can see all sides of this road, if I were to hit anything, it would be the curb, then the lake.) I'm not very well versed in drifting (I don't try it fast) but I can have fun and get my adrenaline running pretty good. I got a couple of good slides in. Then I try to get a little more sideways one of the sharper turns, I get too sideways and almost bent a rim, (very close) and decide that we have had enough fun for one night and put her back in the drive way.

Take your sis with you on a real ride...though kinna an easy one incase she's the type that'll flip out...it usually puts worlds of understanding into chick's minds.

ha ha. I don't think she could take it. The scariest ride I ever had and made it through, was in a miata. through an apartment parking lot. the tires burned through about 45% of this @2:30 ride. the other scariest ride I ever had was in my 86, although I was dirving... kinda. One night I started to hydroplane coming out of a turn on a highway at about 45 mph. got sideways like an out of control drift, got back to pointing forward, and the back end didn't stop turning. the front tires hit the grass and I started spinning. At this point I thought I was going to Die. I continued to spin... very fast, I couldn't see which way was forwards anymore. It felt like forever, I just pushed againgst the steering wheel and yelled and cussed. All of the sudden, I feel my car drop and come to a complete stop. I thought I was either dead or just fine. I put the car in reverse, and nothing happens. I start to get out of the car, and water starts pouring in from the bottom. I did some more cussing and climbed out through the window.

I had my roommate come pick me up from about 3 hrs away. We went and did some WTF happened looking around, and I did 360s for about .15 miles, no ****. Went over one bridge, almost made it to the second bridge, ran off the road down a nine foot drop into about 3 ft of water. To give you an idea of how fast i was spinning, take two lengths of your car. now do a 3.5 360s in that space, and another 180 in the air. needless to say my car was dead. still awaiting resurrection. First mod after its running, new tires.

i tried "drifting" for the first time yesterday, boy was it fun! haha i barely got it, kinda scary, had no where to do it, so did it around my friends neighborhood cuz he said it was ok, but after a couple of laps around the block, some white guy ran out chasing after me! lol and pretended to throw his phone at me lol i think he tried to call the cops. i wasnt going fast cuz its my first time, i only made the "squeaking" once and he went crazy! haha

Try to find a road with no houses or trees to practice on. or go to a parking lot and set up cones. you can still get in trouble but... I would hate to see you posting about some stupid lady backing out of her driveway and smashing your sideways fc. btw My drift road is about fifteen minutes away and took me years to find. so, be safe and good luck.
