That's not FUEL (note spelling! ) coming out of your tailpipes, it's just water vapour. It smells like fuel because cold-start mixtures are quite rich. How do you know you're losing fuel pressure? Have you checked it with a pressure gauge? Your question's a little vague, I'm not quite sure what the problem is. There are underside pics in the Haynes manual showing the fuel lines, and the fuel pump is in your fuel tank, accesible from a plate under the rear carpet.

Its pretty simple: 1 line runs off the pump to the fuel filter, then into the fuel rail.
The other line comes off the fuel rail and leads back into the tank.
There is another line, vacuum line, for your Gas vapour.
I am also confused about spitting of Fule [sic] onto the floor. Where is this happening?
I belive [sic] we need more info.

It sounds like it's flooded. You need to try the unflooding treatment first. Try this link. I used to pull the egi fuse everytime until I put a switch in for the fuel pump.

Uh. You sure it's not just flooded? That's what it sounds like to me. If you had a hole in your fuel line, you'd KNOW it.
