Fuel System Expert Needed!
![Wconfused](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/Wconfused.gif)
I need the Ohm/ Amp current rating/reading for the SENDING UNIT when it's FULL & EMPTY for a 1991 N/A RX7 so I can choose the proper Autometer Fuel Level gauge. It seems that nobody on the outside world can help me, not even Mazda, either due to stupidity or just plain laziness. (You know the type, "I'll collect my paycheck but other than that, leave me alone!") I called 3 dealerships and two gave me 2 different sets of figures.
Does anyone here have the CORRECT answer. If you find it in the FSM please tell me the page # you found the information on. I can't find it there.
I've also called Summit, Walbro, Autometer all to no avail.
Thank you for your kind and generous help in this matter.

Did you try emptying the tank, putting a meter on it, filling the tank, and putting a meter on it?
It seems like less work than you've already gone though, but I enjoy the company of a multi-meter more than people, so maybe I'm wrong.

I also wanted to do this, make my own gauge cluster. Search at summitracing.com you will find more gauge options. There are a few gauges made by one company, I foget who they are, but they are 1.5" gauges which would fit a little better in tight places.
