So I'm contemplating how I will do these upgrades so I'd figured I'd ask everyone.

My car right isnt running yet , I have upgraded secondary injectors from gsl-se which are listed as 680cc but I believe are 720cc on fc fuel pressure(will confirm when I get flow report from injector rehab), aside from that I have a fcd.

I really think this is a weak setup and its only going to cause me problems if I ever creep past 9psi that and the stock ecu isn't calibrated for bigger secondaries.

The plan is to ditch the fcd, upgrade to an rtek 1.7 and get a walbro 255lph from Banzai racing (or a fd fuel pump-but I'm hesitant on trusting a used pump from the junkyard).

Will I be okay without using an adjustable fpr on this setup until I can get one, or will I have problems without?

The engine I'm dropping in soon will be running this setup, I want something that will work in the long run instead of having to upgrade immediately after break-in when I start boosting instead of worrying about running lean if I boost creep past 9psi and run funky having bigger secondary injectors on stock fuel map/ecu.

Car has full Turbo back exhaust, stock intake, blitz bov, s5 Turbo (will be porting waste gate), als apex seals on stock port s4 engine, all removed emissions/omp etc..

In the end I figure this setup good for 12psi Max and ideally running around 10.

Any help appreciated, thanks for your time.

i've done a few T2 setups, and i will outline below, but i think FCD+GSL-SE injectors are plenty for 10-12 psi.

if you're worried about a used FD pump, buy the walbro, its not expensive. the FPR isn't needed, and it would probably be hard to get running right on the stock ECU, because you would be messing with fuel pressure in places you can't tune, like idle and cruise.

the Rtek can't hurt, but i wouldn't say its needed.

my last T2 setup had a stock S5 turbo and 3" exhaust and it did 8psi with no creep on a stock wastegate, and with 550/GSL-SE injectors, it was actually almost too rich. i had plans to fix that by putting a T4 on it, but was ultimately too lazy

Were you running stock fuel pump, and when you say 3" exhaust do you mean catback or Turbo back, cat or no cat(mine has no cat)? All ppl Ive asked say they still get up to 11+ psi even with their waste gate ported.

The rtek is only $150 and the walbro is like $110.

I was just worried about the fuel pressure being so high it'd cause idle problems etc being too rich etc.

As far as I know stock ecu doesn't retard timing above 9 psi , I just wanna get rid of the fcd its like a band aid.

i was running a the RB turbo back, and i was running either the walbro or the FD pump, but i'm not sure which one, i started with the FD, went walbro (for the 3 rotor) and then i can't remember if i switched back or not, i think i did.

i had no trouble with boost creep on the S5 turbo, the S4 turbo did though. and b) i didn't care if it crept, i had enough fuel to run a hybrid @13psi, so the stock turbo @13psi was fine.

get the Rtek, its cheap, when i did mine it didn't exist.

I like the idea of sending my ecu out to get upgraded , especially since I bought it used and I've never tested it and they test it fully when they chip it.

Is there any way to test an afm? I got that used as well.

The only other electrical concern is my abs connector and aas connectors melted , I have no clue why. That and there's a few wires missing the end connectors that I need to fix that ill post pics of, I know what most are since they may of broke while I had the car but a few were missing the whole time.

A few of my injector plastic wiring connectors (plastic) have a broken piece on them but they seem to hold fine.

Sorry for rambling, Ive been working on getting this car running for a few months and I'm pretty close now.
