Fuel Pump Solenoid Resister 88 Convertible, where is it? (help)

I am working on installing a S4 engine out of a coupe into a S4 convertible. I have noticed that convertibles do not have the solenoid resistor in the front right corner like the coupes do. I have examined both harness and the convertible appears to just be missing the plug. I can not find it anywhere in the engine compartment and do not see 5 wires missing anywhere on the convertible harness.

I was planning to use the harness on the coupe engine but am unsure what I should do about this now blank plug?

I was hopping that someone else had come across this same situation, any help, suggestions, or information would be appreciated.

Thanks

To my knowledge none of the s4 NA's had the resistor. ONly the s4 turbo models, and all 89+ models.

thanks, all the 86 to 87 coupes I have dealt with have had this resister, such as the one to which the engine came out of.
