Fuel leak..need some help guys.

Alright well i just got my t2 back from the shop and it was running good. So yesterday i was going to take it out for a spin. I started it up, let it warm up for a minute so it held its idle and then popped the hood. Much to my surprise fuel was spraying out of the fuel rail. Like a mist bottle. It was the fuel rail DIRECTLY under the UIM. I think that is the secondary rail. I did tighten the big bolt on the end a bit, and it didnt stop. Any help would be GREATLY appriciated. And yes, i searched

If that doesnt work....check the injectors them selfs. ( you may want to do that while you are checking the seals)

The safe(r?) way to test the fuel system it to use the fuel pump test jumper. There should be a yellow jumper on the passenger's side of the engine bay up near the airflow meter & such. Jumper this, and turn the ignition on (but don't start the car). The fuel pump will now run. This lets you prime the fuel system, and is also useful when dealing with leaks. Because the engine isn't running, you don't have an insanely hot exhaust manifold sitting around, and you don't have the spark plugs blasting away (a bad plug wire could potentially be arcing to ground somewhere other than the plug, which could ignite gas).

You'll still want to keep a fire extinguisher around, but using the fuel pump test jumper is much safer than running the engine when dealing with leaks.
