Question Fuel Injecter Prob

I just put a new engine in my RX-7 but it wont start. I narrowed it down to the fuel injecters they are getting gas but there not shooting it. i tryed different injecters and i get the same thing. Its like there not getting power or something. would anyone know how or why. Also it will run on starting fluid so i know that there isnt wrong with ignition, i have checked the fuses and i have made sure that the injecters are getting the gas. So if anyone has an idea please tell me.

You should do a search, I had alot of people help me with the same problem a few days back :P They said it was most likely due to an improper ground for the ecu. The ecu needs to be grounded to the upper rotary housing for the injectors to function.

Make sure that the AFM is causing the Fuel pump to turn on.

If you have to, you can jumper your fuel pump... Is your AFM plugged in?

If you're getting spark, then the rear rotor housing ground is probably good. I say probably because there are actually 3 seperate ground pins from the ECU that go to that point, and you can't rule out having a bad splice in the harness somewhere unless you read out each of the pins from the ECU, to ground. Should get less than 1 ohm at each (3A, 3G, and 2R on S4's, and 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D on the S5's, IIRC)
