Fuel hard line adaptor

I am converting my fuel lines to -6 AN and I know some guys used this adaptor

My question is do you flare the hard line 37 degrees like the tube sleeves?

Or is there a better option?

no you dont need to flare the hard line.

If looks aren't a high priority, just clamp the hose on there with a small worm gear hose clamp. I've been doing it for years. Or you can clamp them on using a faux-AN fitting like this:
