Fuel Gauge

okay, so. Me and rx7s dont get along when it comes to fuel gauges. the first one in the turboII didnt read above half, the replacement didnt read below half, and the new new one, doesnt read.

so im getting tired of dicking around with the fuel level sending unit. Is there anyway of using an autometer sending unit? Or maybe another way i can solve my fuel reading problem? i would really like to know how much gas i have.

Well....There are procedures in the FSM to test both the fuel gauge and the sending unit. According to these tests, which one doesn't work?

Yes, you can use an Autometer gauge/sendig unit. You just have to mount their sending unit in the tank, and hook up their gauge.

well the best i can tell the gauge itself works, but i keep getting bad senders. But if i can make the autometer setup work, then im game.
