Fuel Delivery Problems 87 Turbo
Okay- first off- I am not completely service oriented but we do know a lot about these cars....
Got an 87 Turbo 2 that is in for service. It seems to be getting fuel to the back rotor and we've gotten the car to run on what seems to be one rotor (because the rear rotor plugs were nice and dry). Did a basic compression check and we're getting consistent readings on both rotors. After running the car, we found number one rotor housing to have fouled out plugs with fuel.
Our coil packs seem to be working properly. My first guess is that one of the injectors is not getting the signal but the fouled plug is throwing me off which would be possibly consistent with low compression on one rotor. Either we did our compression check wrong or something.
Is there anyone in Oklahoma that knows turbo models in and out because I have another issue with an S5 turbo that needs to be solved.
Help!
