Fuel cut off question?

I need to wire up a fuel pump cut off switch because I have some major flooding problems. (the wierd thing is I just got my injectors completely serviced) But anywayz, with a fuel pump cut off I would just flip the switch and let the car die, right? Thing I was wondering about was wouldnt that cause the car to lean out for the last couple of rotations, which would be bad, right?

I don't think it will hurt anything, it's not like you are under load, just idle it till it dies, same as stalling it pretty much.
