FTP lenses

Hey everyone My first post here and i was curious of how you do this with your FTP lenses? i've seen it on a few cars and liked it. Is it homemade? Or can you buy it? Either way i'll end up doing. Thanks for you help.

It's homemade. The clear lense has been removed from the plastic frame, which has had mesh glued into the back.

Just don't expect that air to go anywhere useful...

haha yeah i know its useless for airflow... but it looks sweet. How the hell would you get the lense off it? Its practacly impossible. I had to remove mine because of moisture in them and couldnt get the damn thing off for my life.

to ge the front lens off, there are 2 prongs on the top and the bottom that connect the black peice to the lens. If your gonna remove these, i advise that you be super careful at not cracking them becuase they are pretty frail. As for the back lens or "pre lens" its bonded onto the black peice and ur gonna have to cut that off. -alex
