![Question](https://www.rx7club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Kind of a weird starting problem, and wondering if my 90 vert n/a does in fact have a fusable link? Installed a new starter, cleaned all cables, to battery, starter, grounds-again, but weird issue has arisen. Sometimes it starts like gangbusters, then 3 times later, it acts if the battery is dead. Have checked voltage in battery, off, key on, starting, running, everything ok. Starter still good, alternator checks out, but every so often, she's acts dead. It will always start, just takes 5-6 seconds to crank, and I don't like engaging starter that long.
Any ideas?

or make sure the power wire to the starter is connected and working, that is how i got my rx-7 for soo cheap, he said it would not start..=) and make sure that the car knows the clutch is in or you will get that click sound << that is what i am guess you get when it does not want to crank ... if not disreguard
