Wow- we have some girly men around here. Or minors. Well I think it looks better (as opposed to the headlights in the up position) And I dont mean i get sloshed and go drag racing in the streets- I mean I have had a drink or two and dont feel like walkin the FKN line because a police officer doesnt like my lights. Or the fact that I have no front liscence plate. So to all who approve and dont have Coke bottles so they can see at night - You know tha deal.

Does anyone have exp w the 4 round bulb kit that Rx7.com sells? http://www.rx7.com/pics/fc-ksheadlight.jpg
Even though I can see fine at night (and I dont think the driving lights are too bright for oncoming drivers because theyre on when the low beams are on anyways) I would prefer to have additional light at my disposal i.e. "brights" for when Its raining or whatever.
But seriously, not out to offend anyone but don't be an idiot on here. :ak:

Hey Wil,
So now, because you happen to be an old man, you have the right to risk other peoples lives? So... It's manly to go out and be a drunk driver.... "Wow, your so macho for killing that innocent family driving home from the movies..." So... I guess I would be the girly man for NOT being a murderer, right?

Uhmm... man, you don't offend me, you bloody well disgust me. Did you know that 40% of all motor vehicle fatalities INVOLVE ALCOHOL? Oh, you did? BUt I guess that doesn't matter, because you're too busy stereotyping environmentalists and people with glasses.... (nice, very nice, showing your intelligence there...) Not to mention the fact that you wouldn't care about the numbers anyway, 'cause you are TOO FU(KIN MANLY, AREN'T YOU?

(Go away... before you humiliate yourself more... )

Good idea - eh
You either get it or you don't man. It's that simple. You obviously do not get it. And I do lol every night. And Ive never killed anyone in an alcohol-related situation. I practice good judgement when I drive. Nancy-boy lobbyists who determine that they want to lower the legal BAC limit because they get drunk after a Zima. Im 24, hope thats not too old. But really I started this thread because I like my lights, and everyone I know round here w/ a seven has theirs down. I just wantedto share some info. Don't be so such a Mountie- CRASH

You PRACTICE GOOD JUDGEMENT?

um... ok ... and this is WHEN you are drunk? riiiiiiiight.

Listen, I konw what it's like to be drunk and you dont have any ******* judgement. I wonder how many times you fucked your sister under "good drunk judgement. "

It's funny, cuz if I was ever hit by a drunk driver and could walk away from it, i'd kick the living **** out of the ******* right then and there. Cool thing he'd be too drunk to fight back effectively And if my family was ever so much as INJURED by a drunk **** I'd cut his ***** off and make him BEG me to call the cops to help his stupid drunk ******* ***. I bet that sounds pretty pansy of me huh

Now I understand why cops have to be such ******** and pull you over for broken taillights, expired tabs, licsence plate covers, or loud exhaust.... to keep drunk ***** off the goddamned roads every night

*Please* don't be that drunk **** -for your own good

Funny thing...

Before I bought my first 7, I used to have another friend who's name was also 7...Seagram's 7 that is...

...After I drove my 7...I stopped drinking. No need to...I had WAY too much fun driving(or going sideways) than drinking.

Just a though there wil

And on a side note...I've had this done to my n/a WAY back in '97. This thread's about 5 years late.

You are a dipshit. Directing an insult with half-*** knowledge. By "when Ive been drinkin" I mean(for those of you who are genetically inferior): When Ive gotten off work, stop by Dave & Busters have usually 2-3 beers in a 2-3 hour period, while playin some pool, and make my way to the homestead. Now any idiot knows this is not enough to impair your judgement. Even the police. But because an officer would be able to smell the alcohol, and be suspicious I see it better to pop em up (headlights) than to have to explain or possibly blow- and pass. It has prob been since my HS days that I have gotten trashed and drove. And even then it was a Honda Oddessey (like a miniature dune-buggy) so even though this is not in violation of any statutes or federal mandates, I am sure someone will have a problem with me "off-roading under the influence" We'll call it OUI. Ill be ROFLMAO

The point is that drinking and driving is wrong. Regardless of the volume of alcohol he consumes, or the time period over which he consumes it, alcohol is still impairing his abilities. So maybe he has never hit anyone, ok, good for him. BUT, the fact is, drunk drivers KILL people.... drunk drivers kill friends... And HE is a DRUNK DRIVER.

IF i am ever hit by drunk driver I will then and there (if I can walk) kick there *** sooooo damm hard, wil its okay if you get drunk, but dont put other innocent peoples lives at risk ok? it makes you sound like an idoit not like the "hard" person you were trying too. The more times you drive drunk the bigger chance you are more likey to hit someone or something. I know a peramedic who respnded to a car crash call, the driver was drunk and was driving about 120 or so in his corvette and hit a overpass support, why dont you ask him how cool drunk driving is? oh whait he was DOA so, DOA that there wasnt much left of a casket, a few small crushed body parts. or how about asking my two dead realitives who were killed by a drunk driver? I bet they thought it was cool when b4 they died the hospital chest drains could not keep up with all of the internal bleeding. oh and did i mention that all of the above ppl were wearing 3pt seat belts?
sorry about that all
getting of the soap/rant stand now

I think you need to do a little research. The effects of alcohol on your ability to drive (even legal amounts) are long proven. The split second slower you react could be the diffence between a close call and you killing someone. You think this is just PC? Try convincing victim's families of that. The level of your ignorance is staggering. Stop trying to prove to the world how manly you are and grow up, because you're not impressing anyone here. Venture out of that redneck little world of yours try thinking of someone other than yourself.
BTW, if you decide to reply again, see if you can do it without swearing or name-calling. Betcha can't...

Guys: thanks for your support on this one... It still staggers me that some people can be so ignorant of something so harmful to others.

wow... this post is back from the dead....

JDM13B: I know there are kits to do this, but I think that if you were to have someone flip the clean headlight switch and then pull the retractor fuse as they came up... that might work... *shrug*

wow most of you had to pull out a relay switch cause i now there is something you can do to have your headlights running all tha time when you car is on, so you can have the popup-lights up or down and the lights will still be on. no more pulling out or putting back in tha relay
