Banned. I got OWNED!!!
dude, SHUT THE **** UP!,
Stop your crying
Now then. We're all trying to tell you from experience, but if you dont want to listen then that's fine. We're telling you this from personal experience and knowledge, to help you out.
IT doesnt mattery WHY it initially got hot. The fact that it got hot, one time, at idle or driving, at or near the H on the stock gauge, means that from then on, no matter what you do(including finding and fixing the original problem) it will not matter. Whatever that first problem was, it created a bigger problem, one that will not go away, will get worse, and requires a rebuild to fix. The 5 dollar cap may have cost you the engine, but it isnt going to fix it now.
My first experience with a water seal engine had me spending weeks and weeks and hundreds of dollars on radiators, hoses, thermostats, sealant, water pumps, etc. I just couldnt accept the fact that the problem lie inside the engine itself. Save yourself the time and trouble. IF you keep losing coolant when the car sits undriven, it is going somewhere...inside the engine. IF you keep getting HIGH pressure buildup in the system when running, the pressure comes from somewhere...the engine's compression. IT can be a bit tricky to fully bleed a rotary's cooling system, but honestly it isnt that complicated, it either works or it doesnt. Once you have reasonably inspected everything and it looks ok and you continue to have massive problems the cause must lie elsewhere.
This is about all I have to say on this issue, because that's all there IS to say.

thank you very much, i still dont think its over, but it probably is, im just too ignorant to think it...so tomorrow, ill pick up the cap since i already payed for it, and fill it up with coolant, and hope for the best....but with as much knowledge you have and as little I have, im ready for the worst....
so how about that pricing on a rebuild? email me at chiggityx@hotmail.com so we can talk.
