Want to be unique?
How about using a top of dash pod, upside down, across the top of the windshield.
Normally a radar detector is the only thing up there, but there is room for more.

sounds way too busy and distracting, the top gauge on the pillar would take too much attention and then have to refocus on the road, sounds unsafe to me.

want to be unique? make a windshield reflector guage setup like cadillacs and vettes use.

no its not distracting, i see what ur talking about , it hasent bother me in the least, just two more gages. i just have to keep my eyes more focused on the road , lol. ive seen alot more gages in some care then what i have , gawd some of theses cars in the mags that are out , now having that many would make me nuts , lol back to what you were talking about the top gage, its rite at eye level for me . thats whats nice about it ,fits my line of veiw perfect.

They make oil temp/pressure sender adapters that go under the oil filter. http://racingbeat.com/resultset.asp?PartNumber=11802
Not sure if its the best place, but its prob the easiest.

Here's a question, which pods will work with the automatic seat belts? Links?
Also, how do you mount the actual pod, do you just screw into the original A-Pillar plastic?

they come with mounting instructions. usually use an interior push plug to fasten it. you have to take out the plastic that covers the a-pillar (be very careful) then drill matching holes through the pod and pillar cover.

when i drilled the pod i made the holes slightly larger than the holes in the pillar cover so that the push plug wouldn't get crushed and not fasten as well to the pillar plastic. those fins get smushed down otherwise i found.

as far as 4 pillar pods... that's ridiculous. that many and i'd start thinking of putting them in place of the center air vents, radio, or idiot cluster. maybe that's me... but if i had that much going on i wouldn't want everyone and their momma to know about it, not to mention if you didn't hook them up to the dimmer switch, you'd probably go blind.
