in laymens terms where is the t-stat and how do you get to it? i searched and found squat

Coolant filler neck on the pass. side of the water pump. It has either two or three bolts depending on your series of car.

follow the upper radiator hose to the block, it connects at the water neck. there's three bolts that hold the waterneck on,.. the thermostat's under that.
