FMIC, what would it take?

Ok guys, I'm finally getting the chance to have my turbo conversion for my car so I've got some ideas. I'd like to keep the N/A hood and I'd like some suggestions for ways I could do that. I know I could buy a FMIC kit but that's expensive and I'd like to do for for little or free. I'm perfectly willing to do some fabrication if it's possible but I don't have much money to spend on it.

I'm getting a car that has mechanicals but the body is basically crap. I could get the hood painted but I'm not sure what else is wrong with it. Plus I like the idea of having a sleeper car
