The common cheap FMIC I hear refered to most on these boards is to use the intercooler from a Mitsu. Starion/Chrystler Conquest. This is probably the route I will be taking as well, they can be found on ebay for under $100, most are in between $60 and $80. Most common shipping charges is $20 for ups ground, though be careful, I've seen a few auctions that want $45 for shipping!

Never did expect 6port turbo's to become trendy, lol. There's not much anybody can here can do to provide you with pics because we have no idea which method you're using to do it, and considering each method changes the intercooler piping rather extremely, it's pretty hard to get a rough idea.
Realisticly how much are you looking to spend to turbo it?

yea i'm basically trying to figure out the best route to run the tubes without cutting the car up. how much well not much really because i have a complete TII motor harness and computer so i'll probably pick at the TII motor for what i need and then i'll part the rest of it out

Just use the top mount and hack the manifolds up (you'll lose some power possibly, but it'll be cheap and work). That should be good for a nice mild boost in power.

nope im in the middle of doing a fmic setup with custom piping and every way that I try to use to make it work seems to involve me cutting something...actually more like some things. Ill try to get pics when Im done. im almost considering placing it in front of the radiator and swaping to an efan so i can move the radiator a little more forward.

Search for BlueTII's v-mount.

I just mounted my FMIC not too long ago and not hacking anything would be quite the accomplishment. You can still hack while maintaining a nice, clean look, just don't rush anything. The most obvious hacking locations are out of site unless you really look anyways.

That enforcement brace is what gives you your handaling. I would avoid cuting that to the point of scratching the idea of a FMIC. As well avoid the fender wrinkles as this is designd to alow the body to give in a specific way when involved in a server crash. Any links on that H mount? would like to see.

Any brace whatsoever that condolls to th ridgity of a vehical contributes to the handaling. How much of the front subframe do you think is left to enforce ridgity if you cut it all up?

Third, you have probably havent even seen how I cut my reinforcement or how much I cut from it so if I were you I wouldnt even talk.

I thought it was pretty obvious we were all talking about the BUMPER reinforcement. Any company or individual that designs/produces a FMIC kit that requires the subframe (what you are calling "the reinforcement") to be cut up designed it poorly.
