Flushing the Radiatior? Tips?

I am going to fluch the radiator tommorrow and it is very simple but i was wondering would it be smart to do this in 40 degree weather? any tips to make this process faster or something that i ouldent notice. and what anti freeze do you suggest for me to fill it back up with? thankx in advance

I dump the old... fill er back up with 10% freeze solution (just to protect the water pump) run her till the water pump opens up for a minute. drain that and filler back up with 50/50... I use prestone,,,, ,but will be switching to Evans coolant soon.

Since its so freaking cold out you could pull the thermostat out, give er a shot, and then refill... if your car has the original thermostat... change that anyway..

Fortunately, I have no clue about the cold weather.

As for everything else, follow the factory service manual instructions.
