Flooding while driving...

To start with I have an 89 GXL TII conversion. About 2500 or so on rebuild.
A few days ago I had a leak in my upper radiator hose shooting across the engine bay. At the same time I started running really rich and having no power every once in a while. The motor is street ported and I have a PowerFC installed. Pulled plugs and they are dirty but don't seem bad enough to cause this problem. Will die idling or cruising and then it is flooded when trying to restart. I have an LC1 wideband and XD-16 gauge. No noticeable dip in AFRs, Running right around 12:1 at idle and 13:1-15:1 cruising. Can't see any wiring problems, everything looks good. Any ideas?
