Unhappy Flooding problem...push, pull, 3rd set of plugs..what else to do??

Hey guys, i need help BAD!!!, ok after 2 day of pushing and pulling for it to start..
now it won't work... took the plugs out EGI fuses, crank it for about 10-15 sec trying to unflood it. nothing works...it's trying to crank but seems to flood it self everytime.
after last attemp to unflood and pull start today..it came to life for a few sec, but will not respond to any throttle..then it died..sound like it got a lot of fuel in it..so i know this...
1: i got fuel ( and plenty of it)
2: it's trying hard to start.
3: I'm spending a lot of money on plugs.1st set was $7 a piece NGK, then 2nd set a cheap @ss auto lite plugs, i'm going to get a new set of auto lite and try before i burn more NGK that i have for it.
4: considering fuel cut switch..( how-to?? anybody??)
5: i need to have it running so i can set the timming on it.so help and input will be great..
i try search.. tried a lot of stuff it didn't work..

So! what do u guys rotary expert think!!??? can u helpl me??

You dont have to throw away the plugs if they get fouled. Just clean them up and dry them before reinstalling. Try push starting it never fails or do the complex unflooding procedure.

Well first of all don't use any plug other than NGK unless your racing then your on your own. Have your injectors cleaned and rebuilt. A cut-off switch should basically cut off power to the fuel pump so the engine can build compresion it should be simple. I beleive J-rat has a thread on it. search and you will be rewarded.

It is also recommended you change your oil ASAP after doing unflooding.

This should help, but by the sounds of it, it might not be just flooding.

Changing my oil!!??? r u serious!!?? never heard of that , how ever the injectors is clean ( professionally)
i'm going to install a fuel cut off switch today, Q: I have to cut the Blue wire that go to the pump, run wires and a switch right, i'm going by the wireing diagram here..
maybe other way to install a fuel cut off switch?? ( i know u say search , but i'm just lazy after messing with it for 5 hours..
anyhow, the switch have to be off( no fuel) then i crank the car to build compression, then flip the switch on ( power to pump) is that how it work?? until i break in my engine properly!!??
well a new plug wire is going in this after noon with new plugs..but should i put in my new NGK in it now?? or should i just put in any other kind of plug1st then change it to NGK?? what do u think it will be best??
i still save the 1st set of ngk clean it and let it drying hopeing to reuse it later...but more and more input please..what did u try to unflood ur rebuilt ( streetport).
thanks

Ok first off, on my car which is an 87 tii, the fuel pump wire is green. All you have to do is get a switch that has 2 prongs coming off of it at radio shack. Buy a box of wire connectors that look like this =={|||| You then cut the wire, strip both the ends where you cut it, then put the connectors onto the stripped ends and crimp it tight on the wire. Then just plug both the connector things onto the two prongs coming off the switch, and there you go. Pull all your plugs and clean them with brake cleaner and a wire brush. After that just keep cranking with the switch turned off, hopefully it will start up and die. Then turn the switch on, and it should start normally. Whenever you turn the car off hit the switch first with it running and just let it die. This will make sure there is no fuel left in the engine when you start it up again.

If your plugs come out wet, no worries. Just take a propane torch, or a lighter whichever you want to use (nothing too hot) and put the flame to the plugs for a couple seconds. They should be dry after that, so let them cool down and put them back in.

The reason why you need to change your oil is because you might have gas in it and that's a bad thing, it will wash out all your seals and could ruin your motor.

just for the record, i'm all for the "pull-start" method to fix flooding.. hijack your dad/mom/neighbor's 88 plymouth voyager van and tie up your 7 behind it.. throw it in second, and let it start it self... mine started in 1/4th of a block..

Isn't there a better place to put that switch?? Or another wire to tap into to turn the pump off? Don't really want to run wires all the way back up to the dash tho.
