Get the fuel injectors cleaned and install a fuel pump cut switch. Try to avoid starting & shutting it off cold (warm it up some before shutting off).

Try this, when you go to start the car, put the foot ALL THE WAY to the floor. RX7s have a fuel cut switch built in when the pedal is all the way to the floor. I am positive its on S5 cars, and hear its on S4 cars (and it works for my S4 car, so i presume its fine)

Switches are ghetto, try having the injectors and then if that doesn't fix it yank the fuel pump and rip the little plastic valve that looks like a little basket out of the nipple with needle nose pliers. The car won't hold fuel pressure when its off and flood. It;ll take about one unnoticeable second for the car to build pressure when you start it, but it'll probably never flood again.

Or you can use a ghetto rigged switch and turn the car over, flip the switch again and start the car with a wonderful plume of smoke (unburnt gas) . The chicks really dig that.

Roy_James is correct.
when starting if it floods press pedal to the flor and hold it(DO NOT pump) and it will stop the injectors until until it fires.
I have some really high miles and I flood every now and then and this works perfect for me.

Good luck
