Nice work on the rebuild... I just got my Rx-7 with a blown motor and I'm still deciding whether or not to rebuild it my self or send it to rotary resurrection... If it can be done that cheaply might as well just rebuild it my self. Did you do any kind of street port anything like that?

I had a 1968 Ford Fairlane when I was 15. It was mostly together when I got it but I put it back together and sold it for double what I paid for it. Then my brother and I swapped the engine in his 1991 Alfa Romeo 164L when I was 16 (he was 18)... You have given me hope that I too can rebuild my rotary... My uncles are into muscle cars, and my grandfather is into early cars (1910-30's) so they won't be much help... But if you did it alone... Then it is possible. Nice work!

definately a sastification
and you are doing something that most peole twice your age have no clue on

i built my 396 in my chevelle ss with no help, no books, when i was 15 too... nothing beats the sastification when you first fire it up and drive the **** out of it once you get the license...

Pfft, no love.

I also added a writeup explaination of WHAT parts you may/may not need for the rebuild.

It's in the Archives now.
