Finally Some Pics For You All!

Damn, that thing should run like a spotted ape when it is done. Does the turbo actually fit on the engine when in the car? Doesnt look like there is room. What are you using for control? Is this a built engine, or just a used stocker? As others have said, be careful with boost and hi comp. You're usually okay up to about 10psi with fuel mods.

It was acually a stocker that I pulled from a car at the junk yard. It had been crushed in the back. The Odometer read 32,000 miles on it so I pulled just hoping it would be okay. When I got home I checked the compression, and she was perfect on all 6 faces. So then I dropped the pan, and it was as shiny and clean as a brand new motor. I only paid $60 for it on half-off day. The To4 does fit, although I am going to make my own manifold that is more space providing for a use in a bug. The fuel system is upgraded, using 680cc gsl-se injectors and a MSD 255lph inline fuel pump and a vortex 8:1 rising rate fuel pressure regulator and a Apexi S-AFC. To control the boost I am using a 40mm HKS standard gate, and a Apexi AVC-R boost controller.

No, unfortunatly its not near completion. The motor is done and so is the tranny, brakes, clutch, seating, and configuring. Things to still have done include, the cooling system, harness cleanup, wiring, and final tranny mounting which required complete one-off mounting brakets that I had to have made, (took 16 months), and need to be welded in. when progress starts again I will get new pics for you all.
