Over heat ???

Dude I would much rather spend a little more $ (110)
than over heat, or even run hot.
"DOIN IT RIGHT" is the topic??????
Rotaries can make a hell of a lot of power. but lets addimit being reliable
is not one of its strong points.
These are just my suggestions.
Build your car the way you wish.

So what kind of mods did you have to do to get that 16" fan to fit in there, or did it pretty much bolt on?
Also how was the install? Very hard?

Agreed... Funny how the topic is "Doing it right", but we're talking about skimping with cheap fans. A quality fan is the only way to do it right.

As for overheating? People with the stock radiator have this problem when they install a front mount. Switching to an aftermarket (Koyo or Fluidine) reduces the risk of overheating.

ok I already said I have a koyo... but its not about a cheap fan or not.... if I can flow the same ammount of cfms with about 1/2 the price, then why not.... If I would see the it offered something that the other fans didnt offer then ok...

How do you make the custom shroud for that E-fan?

Fan shroud

SAiaNE:
Here's a link http://www.unorthodoxracing.com/projrx7.html#cooling
It's not that hard, did it all with hand tools. Heat gun and some rivits.
One thing they did not describe is how to mount it to the radiator.
I used thin sheet metal, wraped it underneth the plastic shroud.
And used rivits to attach it to the plastic shroud. Becareful with which
rivits u choose they will crack the plastic, if the pinch point is too narrow.
ALSO!! the shroud is 100$$.
