A temperature switch.
How to install it: Find a switched power source, take a wire from that to the temp switch, set the temp switch to come on at desired temp (160F?) then run that to the pos terminal on the fan. Ground the neg. The fan will come on automatically @ 160F and turn off once temp drops below 160F when the car is running.
Thats what Im doing. Im also setting up another switched power source to a 3 prong switch so I can make the fan run when I want (like if Im at the track and the car is idling, Id rather have the temp @ 130F than 150F).

you really don't NEED a writeup on this. It's pretty cut and dry. Follow the instructions on the temprature switch, and zip-tie the fan to the radiator... the end.

You have to buy one. www.victoriabritish.com has a decent one for around $30.
