A few T2 questions..
Gawd I spent 100 bucks at the dealership this morning. Tell me if Im got p0wn3d!
2 Upper intake gaskets
4 sets of injector grommets and orings and crap
1 fuel rail banjo bolt (removing pulsation dampner)
1 Mazda fuel filter
2 turbo coolant bolts (cant find these other than dealer)
4 turbo coolant washers
I have some hesitation and general lazyness (And the dreaded 3800 rpm hesitiation) that makes me think I have a fuel leak/delivery problem. Will find out wed. I was thinking I could have used some RTV like 'the right stuff' as a intake gasket but since it seems that everyone swears by the mazda factory gasket might as well replace it. Any input? THanks It will be my first time taking off the upper man on my t2. I want to know any minefields or things I need to do when Im in there? Im doing all the vacuum lines, replacing all the injector grommets and take my injectors to a local injector service place to be cleaned. I will also likely replace my injector clips as they can fail other FI cars I have owned (ala chrysler conquest). Thanks in advance,
H

only 100 bucks eh? sweet deal...
thats not bad, much more money can be spent in other areas much faster with much less headway being made. And yes I would recommend putting a new gasket in with a LITTLE wipe of gasket silicione on either side of the gasket just to tack it in place while you slip the manifolds back together.
3800 rpm hesitiation eh? im lucky enough to say I've never been bent over and lubed up by that problem - so I have no advice to offer on fixing it other than I have read more about that problem on here than anywhere else so Im sure a search will yield the results your after.
